Packing for the day

You check the window before school — sunhat in summer, raincoat when clouds gather. Weather is today's sky, and the seasons are the year's big pattern that decides whether sunhats or snow boots live by the door.

Four seasons, every year

The year has four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. In summer the days are longer and warmer; in winter they are shorter and colder.

The sun warms us

The sun gives Earth light and heat. More sunlight means warmer weather.
